The new issue of the Neuroforum is online.

The editor of this issue is Prof. Dr. Ilka Diester, spokesperson for the Systems Neurobiology Section of the NWG.

Current research results from this field of expertise are presented in three articles:

  • Annika Cichy, Ilona Grunwald Kadow
Neuromodulation – the key to flexible behavior
  • Gabriela Neubert da Silva, Anne Petzold
From metabolism to mood: leptin links metabolic homeostasis to mental health
  • Jessica Grunwald, Alexander Gail
Frontoparietal networks for planning goal-directed arm and whole-body movements

And, as usual, this issue also brings you news from the society, this time including the announcement of the results of the symposium selection for the 17th Göttingen Conference from March 17 to 19, 2027. With Robert Nitsch's review of Frank W. Stahnisch's book Great Minds in Despair. The Forced Migration of German-Speaking Neuroscientists to North America, 1933 to 1989, the Neuroforum revives its book review section.
